Like many, I have always loved fashion and had a passion for sewing. I love that through clothing, it can describe a personality in a nutshell. I love how fashion can be so different and diverse, yet in many ways, similar.
This blog is named Plaid Stripes because one of my favorite things is to mix prints and to coordinate, rather than match. I believe that fashion is a way to self express, that we should go against the grain, and be true to ourselves. Throughout styling, sewing, and design, I can express who I am and my style
I believe we all have something we can contribute to this world, and this is mine.
