Floral + Stripes

When it comes to clothes, hands down, my favorite thing to wear is a dress. Dresses are so comfortable! Dresses are easy and polished looking. I love the 90s look of wearing a tee under a dress, but did it with a twist. One of my favorite things to do is mixing prints. I love mixing stripes with floral, stripes with plaids, and plaids with florals. I love the funky-ness to it and also how it actually works and can look polished.
So, for a wonderful (yet long) day celebrating Grandma's 89th birthday, I chose to wear something I would be comfortable in all day long. Since we were so close to the beach, after the birthday party, that was our next destination. We all watched the sunset together before heading back to home in Tehachapi, CA. It was a great day and a perfect ending at the beach.
